Our Junior Surf Programme is where many of our future lifeguards begin their journey, and our instructors play a huge part in making it such a great experience.

We’re now looking for JSP Instructors and Squad Leaders to join the team for the 2026/27 season.

Whether you’re returning to Junior Surf or keen to get involved for the first time, this is a great opportunity to spend time on the beach, work alongside other lifeguards, develop your coaching and leadership skills, and help inspire the next generation of Tairua lifeguards.

There are a range of roles available, with support and mentoring provided throughout the programme.
